Bryan cook says he didnt fund the football camp. So his lawyers are going to take him to court for $500,000 because he didnt fund it and didnt pay fees.

This just in: Here's the lawsuit filed Thursday in the District Court for the District of Columbia against NBCUniversal (NBCU) and the D.C. Soccer Association ("DC Soccer") for their refusal to cover the 2014 tournament and, in many cases, for the $250,000 in unpaid fees to participate. The lawsuit notes that the tournament was the biggest sporting event the country had ever seen:

The Defendants violated the First Amendment's free speech rights by refusing to cover the tournament despite the fact that, as the Defendants' own internal emails indicated, the Defendants planned to do exactly that. Indeed, for the duration of the tournament, the Defendants created an anti-discrimination policy that stated that the DC Soccer "implements a diversity policy at all times and in all places that includes women." That policy was further created by the Defendants' employees who wrote, reviewed and approved the policy that was intended to cover all aspects of DC Soccer's operation. Under the anti-discrimination policy, female staff members were not to be required to participate or pay a fee for access to a sports event. The Anti-Discrimination Policy contained a comprehensive list of prohibited conduct and prohibited behavior, including the need for and/or presence of a female employee to participate in all sporting activity in the venue. That is, as soon as a female employee had entered, exited, or used the restrooms at a DC Soccer-operated stadium, the designated male employee was to walk up with her and ask if the female employee needed anything.

This is the lawsuit's opening brief.

Jean enriquez says rodrigo duterte sexual assault report was made up because of 'political motive'

MANILA, Philippines “ A former Filipino President's sexual assault complaint against a senior Senator accused of seducing her and having sex with her during his time as chief executive was fabricated, a Senate inquiry told in a Wednesday, April 23, hearing.

Rodrigo Duterte said he was convinced the report was made up as political motive because of the senator's connections to "the big money-ed political families."

Senate President Aquilino Pimentel Jr. questioned the testimony of the Department of Justice regarding President Rodrigo Duterte's alleged sexual assault of Senator Panfilo Lacson as Senator Lacson, former Speaker of the House and an alleged witness in the Lacson sexual assault case, refused to testify in the case. Lacson is a suspect in the murder of her fellow Senator Isidro dela Rosa.

"These witnesses, it's not only Lacson, is also connected with the big money-ed political families. They are all connected with the family of the Vice President. What do you think is more, what is more sinister than that, the way they are all tied together? It is the same case that has taken place in this alleged sexual assault of senator Lacson," Pimentel said.

The Senate probe into Lacson's alleged death in custody and the case of Lacson and former Speaker Rolando Espinosa, now a senator, was scheduled to conclude April 28. However, that trial is also scheduled to conclude after the Senate investigation concludes April 24.

Pimentel noted that Lacson and Espinosa's trial was only set to start at 9 a.m. on Monday, April 25, but the proceedings are scheduled to continue from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

A copy of the original report, and the testimony of the victims' family members, also was prepared for the Senate inquiry. However, due to the ongoing investigation, it is not available for public inspection or review, Pimentel said.

It was a matter of public record that the Lacson sexual assault case was brought before the Senate as an "unimaginable horror." The victims were not given any opportunity to cross-examine each other or the other accused, Pimentel explained.

The Senate inquiry focused on Lacson's statements in response to questions from Pimentel's staff after Lacson publicly denied knowing any "sins" from the sexual assault. Lacson said he knew they had been committed by Lacson's brother, Juan "Bato" Lacson.

The alleged victim said she remembered what happened with "the big money-ed politica
